Today we worked on the backgrounds we had prepared. We had been asigned to draw three pictures of hands. Today we were informed that we were to transfere the drawings onto the backgrounds and turn them into paintings. We have been working with layering so we are supose to use more than one hand; these are to exsamples of the results. The next step is painting the hands and makeing them 3D I can't wait.

I have recently become of a drawing and painting three class in high school. I love art and what i lack in talent i make up for in spirit. I am writeing these blogs so that Ican track my progress and make some of my works public. Today we began a series of works by prepareing our serfices. We used various color paints to make a randomised back drop. Once it was dry we began adding gesso and texture by riping magasines cuting away some gesso and ect. after that we used in mid tone to harmonise and bring it all together. I was able to finish one and begin two others. We also began drawing hands. Personally i love drawing hands and i can be pretty good at it well... sometimes. I can't wait to get back to work.
